About TLC Rural Psychology
TLC Rural Psychology was started by Tarryn in 2023 with the goal of helping children, adolescents and their families through intervention and comprehensive assessment and support psychological services. We have expanded in 2025 to include psychological intervention and assessment across the lifespan. Tarryn has extensive training and experience in Learning, cognitive, ADHD and Autism assessment and intervention.

Bachelor Degree in Primary Education
Post Graduate Degree in Psychology
Diploma in Child development
Experience
20+ years teaching unique clients including neurodiverse, youth at risk, transient populations and families with varied presentations and challenges.
Expertise
Specialist training in ADHD assessment and targeted interventions
Specialist training in Autism assessment and support interventions
Passion
I dream of a world where all children and individuals feel seen, heard and valued. That is our driving force at TLC, which we achieve through comprehensive assessment and timely targeted interventions.We work with the whole family for the best possible outcome.
Outside of work
I live locally with my family including two teenage daughters who I spend most of my time with. I am also a long time horse rider, animal lover and creator. I spend my spare time with pets, ponies, travelling, writing, painting and most recently pottery.
Nala
Breed: Golden Retreiver
Age: 4
Training: Nala trained with Tarryn with NSW Therapy Dogs in Tamworth NSW. This was extensive training that included temperament and obedience as well as canine assisted work in the therapeutic space
Outside of work: Nala has a fur family that includes her best friend Koda (Australian Shepherd), a little pal Roxie (Border Collie) and kitten or two.
Favourite things: Swimming. If Nala is away from work it is usually because she has decided to go for an impromptu swim in the dam.
